The Opsprey backpacks are very easy to keep clean, wash out the heavily worn areas with spot remover and warm soapy water. It pays to empty out your backpack when ever you can to let it dry out, but a good soak in the bath tub with mild detergent and warm water will keep it clean and then dry outside in the sun and then you are ready to store or refill with your gear.
